There are many individuals who are concerned about homeless animals in New York City. However, they do not know what to do about the problem. If they see a homeless animal, they may take it to a shelter. Unfortunately, shelters at times have to turn away homeless animals because they simply do not have the space or the funds that are needed to take care of them. This leaves a person wondering if there is any long-term solution to the problem. Fortunately, there are many individuals who are working to solve the problem. Ross Abelow is one such individual. He has recently set up a winter fundraiser to help homeless animals in New York City. It is his goal to raise $5,000 through a Go Fund Me account that he set up.
The money that is raised in this Go Fund Me account will be donated to animal shelters in New York City. It will be used for two purposes. First, the money will be used to purchase items like blankets, food, and medicine for animals that are brought to the shelter. Second, it will be used to expand the amount of space that is available in shelters. The great thing about donating to a Go Fund Me campaign like the one set up by Ross Abelow is that a person can donate as little as $10. If lots of people donate, it will not be long before the $5,000 is raised and the money can be used to help homeless animals who are suffering right now as the temperatures in New York are reaching freezing levels.
Another great reason to donate to a cause like this is that it helps animals over a long period of time. It will get them off the streets during this cold winter and provide the basic necessities they need right now, and they may also be placed in adoption programs that will help them to find long-term homes. The more individuals who can get on board with this, the better.
Ross Abelow is a long time resident of New York City. It was in 1990 that he applied for his license to practice law in the state. He went to local law schools and then began to defend clients who were dealing with different family issues. After about 25 years of working for different firms and on different types of projects, he became a partner at Abelow & Cassandro, Llp. It is still his goal to defend clients who are dealing with tough family situations that require legal advice and assistance.
